Delete your Banay OS account
Banay OS is provided by Dom's Workshop, Inc.
In the app
Settings › Account › Delete your account. Crew and office users can delete their own login. The company owner can delete the whole company account by typing the company name to confirm. You get a one-time download of your data before the account locks.
Without the app (no reinstall needed)
Email dom@doms-workshop.com from the email address on your account, subject "Delete my Banay OS account." Include your company's Banay OS address (for example, yourcompany.use.banay.app). We'll reply to confirm it's you, and we'll offer you an export of your data first.
What happens and when
- Your login: locked and removed right away. Your name, email, phone and password are erased from your login.
- Company account (owner request): locked right away. Its data and files are deleted within 30 days, and backup copies roll off within about 14 more days. We email a confirmation when deletion is done.
- Work records your employer keeps: if you're a crew member, the hours, job notes, photos and messages you added at work belong to your company's records. Your company controls them, and we may pass your request to your company.
- What we must keep: payroll and time records as wage law requires (up to 3 years), plus signed agreements, acceptance and consent records, and billing records as needed for tax, accounting and legal claims. Detailed location points are deleted after 90 days in any case.
If your company has a 12-month agreement
deleting the account doesn't end the agreement or cancel payments still owed under it. Contact us and we'll explain your options.
